- She just posted her first video since the college admissions scandal and talked about how much she wants to vlog again.
Things I have worried about today include whether there’s any apple pie left, if I should finally stop binge-watching bad holiday movies, and how I can avoid ever seeing the 猫 movie. But one thing I haven’t been worried about is Olivia Jade’s influencer career post–college admissions scandal, and it looks like that’s totally okay ’cause she’s out here trying to re-jump-start her career all on her own, tyvm.
Earlier today, Olivia posted her first vlog since news of the scandal broke in March. The two-minute video is basically just Olivia explaining that she can’t talk about what’s going on with her family and saying how much she wished she could still vlog.

She also talks a bit about how much she wants to return to her YouTube的 channel, saying:
“I actually really, really miss it. Like I genuinely miss filming. I feel like a huge part of me, it’s just not the same because this is something that I’m really passionate about, it’s something I really like to do. But I also didn’t know, I debated for, like, seven or eight months, like, well, if I can’t talk about it, is there a point in coming back and not being able to say anything? I want to come back because I want to come back, there’s no point in me just talking for 10 minutes off the camera about how I wish I could say something when I really can’t, so I’m gonna leave it at that....This is the best I can do, and I want to move on with my life.”
She then adds that she was “terrified” to post the video, saying, “Though I’m terrified to make this video and to come back, I know that I also wanna start taking smaller steps in the right direction....Moral of the story is, I’ve missed you guys so much and I’m just really excited to start filming again.”
So, er, I guess we can expect Olivia Jade to start influencing again ASAP!
